After 7 years of polishing a very unique sound that that weds traditional country and bluegrass, but digs into a diverse bag of American roots material, FarmStrong is releasing their 4th CD, aptly named "FarmStrong 4".  With CD packaging inspired and generated by the work of local artist extraordinaire Marina Shipova, the album introduces banjo to the band's sound, along with original songs from renowned songwriter Jim Faddis, and his bandmates Cort Armstrong & Rick Meade.  CDs will be available…

Us four kids will be playing for the KPBX Kid's Concert in Spokane at the Spokane Falls Community College.

Farmstrong will be playing two sets at Wintergrass this year, and doing a couple of workshops. On Friday, we will play in the Auditorium at 7pm. And on Saturday, we will be playing on the Regency stage at 2pm.  On Saturday at 10am in the Cedar room, we will do a workshop on song arrangements. How do we "Farmstrong" a tune. Then Cort will do a workshop at 11:15 in the Juniper room on "Fingerpicking A Round Neck Resonator Guitar."
