FarmStrong, Live In Dungeness – The Summer Sessions

FarmStrong’s debut CD was recorded live in front of a local Dungeness Valley audience in June of 2013. This very first set of songs that the band arranged had a definite leaning towards bluegrass material, but it introduces the musical dynamic that the band has to offer, including some blues and country songs from Taj Mahal and George Jones, next to some mountain standards from Bill Monroe and the Stanley Brothers. At the front of the sound is a powerful belnd of three voices, backed by impressively tasteful instrumentation.
